I have no intention of Zerging on my tank, Gruuler. Don't worry, you are actually overgeared from the looks. Have you done the fight before?

Okay. The fight is no problem whatsoever. Well, almost. Think of it not as a gear testing experience, but as a test of your adaptability. Multiple things as well as a lot of movement continually keep you on your toes. It's a nice preparer for other fights in raids later on, and if you've been in some raids you will already know the basics.

ok, thanks.
I've done 10-man Naxx, so sounds like it shouldn't be too bad.
and that'll be about 9:00 server time?

1 drake is super easy, and doable without needing any better gear than you would for no drakes. after that you need a bit more skill/gear.

That's fine, and we can in the future. I'd like to start rotating drakes and eventually do a 3d non-zerg sarth if we get experienced enough. I just like running that instance, a nice fun run.

As a side note Hano, nobody failed in the raid last night. As far as I could tell, every guild member involved including Mal who hasn't done this before preformed flawlessly for the flamewaves and shadow vortex thingies. Definate A+ for all involved. And we 9 man'd it.

Nice - no one getting hit by flame walls is impressive.

even not having been there before, they were pretty easy to figure out...
giant walls of fire generally != good, big hole in the middle of wall: probably better plan Very Happy
all of the boss tricks seemed much more straight-forward that some of the other raids...
except for portals... but when you notice everybody's disappeared and there's a portal there, that's a big hint Wink

Maybe all my recollections come from pre ulduar, but I remember tanking and wondering why people were so stupid. It was surprising how many people would get nailed by flame walls. You can raid with me anytime Mal.
